Central Vermont: The Heart of New England
Tour Summary
Great Bike Tours offers the best bike tours in Vermont. Our six-day cycling tour is designed to include everything that Vermont is famous for, including fantastic roads for cycling, gorgeous fall colors (in season), peaceful farm countryside, covered bridges, great hiking trails, small villages with their quintessential country stores, local artisans, micro-brew beers, cheese production, locally-sourced organic food, apple & berry picking, and of course maple syrup.
We run our bike tours in late September and early October because Vermont is known for its gorgeous fall colors, and there is no better way to take in the scenery than from the seat of your bike.

Level of Difficulty
Our Central Vermont Bike Tour is everything to everybody. We can make it easy. We can make it moderate. We can make it challenging. We like to think of it as "challenge by choice." We've designed our routes so that even beginner cyclists will have a splendid time (Day 1 for example is a completely flat 24-mile ride). For the more avid cyclist, we have hilly options as high as 66 miles. And for the folks in between... you can cycle as far as you wish, knowing the our support vehicles will be waiting at the bottom of the big hills so we can whisk you to the top (and let you cycle down the other side, of course). It is the perfect tour, for every level of cyclist.
Our unique combination of deluxe farmhouse accommodations and exquisite Vermont scenery results in one of the best bike tours in the whole of New England. Please join our Vermont cycling tour this fall. Contact us to find out about availability.
