Vermont Farm to Fork Bicycle Vacation

July 18-23, 2021

The Farm to Fork organization has teamed up with Great Bike Tours to produce the Farm to Fork Bicycle Vacation, a six-day all-inclusive bike vacation spearheaded by the hugely successful one-day Farm to Fork Fondo bike ride in Vermont’s Champlain Islands.

This six-day bicycle vacation starts with the Champlain Islands Farm to Fork Fondo weekend, followed by five days to explore everything else that Vermont is famous for, including fantastic roads for cycling, peaceful farm countryside, covered bridges, great hiking trails, small villages with their quintessential country stores, local artisans, micro-brew beers, cheese production, locally-sourced organic food, apple & berry picking, and of course maple syrup.

On some of these rides we’ll be cycling alongside Tyler Wren, former pro cyclist and founder of the Farm to Fork series.

Farm to Fork Fondo

What’s a Farm to Fork Fondo – It is an organized one-day bicycle ride (not a race) of varying distances, where you stop for chef-prepared bites at farms along the way. The mission of the Farm to Fork Fondo series is to highlight and support the symbiotic relationship between cyclists, farmers, and beautiful landscapes.

* Wrenegade Sports has been holding their one-day Farm to Fork Fondo events since 2016, and currently they are hosting these events in seven different States (learn more).

Level of Difficulty

Our Vermont Farm to Fork Bicycle Vacation is designed to be everything to everyone. We can make it easy. We can make it moderate. We can make it challenging. We like to think of it as “challenge by choice.” We’ve designed our routes so that even beginner cyclists will have a splendid time (Day 1 for example is a completely flat 24-mile ride). For the more avid cyclist, we have hilly options as high as 66 miles. And for the folks in between… you can cycle as far as you wish, knowing the our support vehicles will be waiting at the bottom of the big hills so we can whisk you to the top (and let you cycle down the other side, of course). It is the perfect tour, for every level of cyclist.
