In case you’ve wondered what some of our tour guides have been up to during COVID-19… Chris and Sam Morrissey have formed their own business called Cool Motion Outdoor Sports, and we ask that you give them your support.
Once it became clear that Great Bike Tours would not be running any bike trips during the pandemic, our guides have been scrambling to find work (like so many others across the country). Chris and Sam have used their time wisely, for when life serves you lemons, make lemonade! Prior to the start of COVID-19 they had already launched their own venture called Cool Motion Outdoor Sports (CMOS), and in the last nine months they’ve had the time to see it fully blossom.
CMOS is a family-owned outdoor recreation center located in their hometown of Bristol, VT. They offer bicycle, ski, and snowboard sales and repairs.

As the organization’s Forest Sector Lead, Samantha overseas Rainforest Alliance’s strategy on forests and works with international corporations to create responsible supply chains and implement sustainability programs and projects.
